Role of Accountants

Accountants can take many and various career paths for instance, financial advising. However, not all accountants are financial advisors. Tax accountants will know which investments give the best tax advantage for individuals although they are not necessarily certified financial planners. If financial advice is required, it is recommended to seek a certified financial planner as they will give you more in depth information about investing, risks etc. Some financial planners are employed by financial institutions whilst others are independent. Independent financial planners are those who accept a fee from the investor rather than a commission from the financial institution.
